| Every now and then I will hear some expletives come from my wife’s office and then the statement “the stupid computer…” To which I respond, and I don’t recommend trying this at home, “that’s right honey, it can only do what you tell it to do”.
Most often, the frustration comes from too much clicking. The computer has reached a point where you have asked it to do too much, too fast. What we tend to forget is that the computer remembers every single click and will process them in order. It can’t move as fast as you can click! It’s like when you hit the kids with a barrage of orders. Eventually, they will overload and end up just staring at you trying to figure out just what you want. (Unlike the computer, they won’t remember half of what you said!) Slow down a little and just let them process what you have told them! Stop clicking! Take some time and smell the roses today.
