How many people do you think almost didn’t go into this blog because of the title? Isn’t that interesting! This blog is about being positive and succeeding at whatever you set out to accomplish. Will you keep reading? In Mark 2:1-12, Jesus heals the paralyzed man because of the faith of the people that brought the man. He does this because there was a group of people that, instead of giving up because they came up to a wall, they found a way over it. The wall was the hordes of people that they weren’t able to get through. Instead, they carried the man onto the roof, opend a hole and lowered him in. Jesus saw their faith and healed the man.
Isn’t life much the same? How many times have you heard stories about an employer who gave an interview because the person had enough faith in themselves to persist? How many times can you think of that a community achieved a goal because they didn’t accept “no” the first time they heard it? They found an alternative way to make the approach or made a modification that changed the answer or outcome. In order to be successful at anything, we need to have faith. We need to believe in ourselves and our goals. If we don’t believe, how will anyone else? Doing things like reading this blog tells me that you are a person who seeks answers. You don’t just sit there feeling sorry for yourself and giving up. Sometimes the answer is different than you ever though it would be. As a result, you end up modifying your plan and achieving something even greater! Do you believe in yourself? Because you are still here and reading this, I can say that I believe in you! Make it a great day! Barry What are you thankful for today? |
