Isn’t it interesting how differently people react to communication?
Sometimes you receive an email that was intended for someone else. You could be angry that someone sent you email you don’t need or you could recognize that it means you are important enough to be in someone’s email list!
I often receive “forwards” from friends and family. I used to be frustrated by that until I read an article that made a lot of sense. In today’s fast moving world, we don’t often have time to sit and write personal messages. Instead, we “forward” a message because it made us think of someone. When you think about that, a forward is a great compliment. That means we were on that person’s mind for at least a brief period. With so much information coming at us these days, that is no small accomplishment.
Next time you get a “forward”, don’t become petty and angry. Recognize that someone thought you are special enough to remember to send you something!
I hope you have a great day!
Barry
P.S. What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful I got one of those accidental emails from a special Aunt. I’m thankful for the wonderful time I had with my grand daughter yesterday. I’m thankful my contract has been extended three more months!
What are you thankful for today?
