The past weekend, the pastor did a discussion on Grace. During the sermon, I couldn’t help but see the similarity to everyday life and business in particular.
If you don’t accept that you need help, you cant receive help. In the MLM business, that’s like shooting yourself in the foot!
Whether your are an entry level associate or Platinum Executive Director, you can always learn if you choose to keep an open mind, eyes and ears. Don’t ever accept that you should do something just because it’s always been done that way. But you should definitely factor the past experiences of yourself and others when deciding how to proceed.
Often, you will hear “We have a system, you just need to follow it”. Maybe. I would say that depends on whether the ones designing the system stay up to date. Markets and people change on an ongoing basis and that means that systems need to do the same.
That being said, if your “system” isn’t working for you, maybe you should give “theirs” a try before you reinvent the wheel!
Bottom line, be open to change. You’re either growing or dying. It’s impossible to just stand still.
I hope you find Grace in all aspects of your life,
Barry.
P.S. What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful for all of the wonderful people I have met through our part time business, especially the imperfect ones. I’m thankful that I read Robert Kyosaki’s Cash Flow Quadrant. I’m thankful God gave me the ability to think for myself.
What are you thankful for today?
