| Merry Christmas!
For years, I worked in retail food. Far too often I would see someone write “Xmas” special. At which point I would make a new sign! I have to admit that today’s political correctness drives me nuts. This country was built based on Christian principals. Personally, I WILL NOT apologize for that. I take the risk working a government office every time I wish someone Merry Christmas. The wish comes from me as a Catholic Gentleman. If someone wishes me Happy Hanukah, I’ll graciously say thank you and wish them a Merry Christmas in return. I will gladly respect others but I expect the same in return. I don’t demand that others to subvert their beliefs as long as they fit with our CANADIAN value system. I hope that everyone does their best to support people who recognize Christ in Christmas. Let the people you do business with know that you give preference to those who have the strength of character to stand up for what they believe in. It’s getting harder every day to go CHRISTmas shopping. If we don’t stand up for ourselves, we will be wishing we had moved to another country. Australia is looking very attractive right now. Sorry for the rant. Well, not really. Have a Very Merry Christmas! Make it a great day, What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful for the Knights of Columbus. I’m thankful we had rain not snow today. I’m thankful that I was born a Christian. What are you thankful for today? |
