Even before I started reading positive books, I have always believed you choose your day when you get out of bed in the morning. Ask anyone that has known me for any length of time.
I believe that you get up in the morning and make a decision. You will have a good day or you will have a bad day. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy. You can’t control what happens to you but you can control how you react.
I have always said that if you wake up on the top side of the daisies, the day is off to a great start! It’s what you make of it from there. My grandfather told me once that he reads the obituaries every day. I said “that’s morbid” and his response was that as long as he didn’t see his name, it was a great day!
He was a great man that one. Have to say I miss him a lot.
Anyway, whether you believe in things like “The Secret” or “The Leader With No Title” or whatever your mantra is, you reap what you sew. Sounds little biblical/corny doesn’t it?!

What am I thankful for? I’m thankful for two wonderful sons. I’m thankful for two wonderful daughters. I’m thankful for a beautiful grand daughter! (Click on Brett Chiarot. Be careful, although there are beautiful pictures of my grand daughter, this page may bring tears. Have tissue!) I’m biased but I believe this is a beautiful testament to a great man.
