I watched this movie with my wife last night. Having recently lost a child, it really struck home.
I found myself visiting my son’s web site today and having a few quiet tears. I miss him but we have so much to be thankful for and we need to keep it together for our other children and our grand daughter.
The Lamp is particularly well done and I can’t imagine feeling like I was responsible for my son’s death.
Anyone who has lost someone, not necessarily a child, will likely be very affected by this movie. Be prepared for a need to have tissues handy and maybe a sad dream but the movie is so inspiring, it’s well worth the watch. We can set up a private viewing for your charitable organization that will raise funds for your group if you are interested. Just contact my wife and she can send you the details.
To all of you who have recently lost a loved one, keep the faith and my God bless you.
Barry
P.S.
What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful my grand daughter has a wonderful uncle who loves her and is doing a great job for her father. He would be so proud! I’m thankful that God gave us the the strength to get through this and has brought us all closer together. I’m thankful that my grand daughter’s mother has allowed us to continue to be such a large part of our grand daughter’s life.
What are you thankful for today?
