I was at The World’s Biggest Book Store looking for a copy of “How to Make Friends and Influence People” when I came across a discount table. There was a book that was a sixth of the regular cost that caught my eye called “Walk the Walk, The #1 Rule for Real Leaders”. So, I bought both!
In reading “Walk the Walk”, I came across a passage talking about the leadership of Robert Mondavi from the Napa Valley in California. It talks about his leadership in developing his wine business and how what he really needed to do was educate. He would buy two bottles of the best wines from France and then invite the chef and restaurateur out to sample the French wines against his wines from the Napa Valley.
I would compare this to the struggles that I see people face in many businesses, especially the MLM business owners. So often, people quit because they are not willing to stick to their beliefs and give up just as they are about the turn the corner!
Believe that if you are true to your one or two key drivers, you will achieve your success. You just need to have faith in yourself!
Keep the faith!
