Back to The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership.
In chapter 8 or Rule #8, John C Maxwell talks about the traits of leaders and one is the ability to make use of their natural intuition. This isn’t to mean that they read minds or “communicate with the universe”. This is a reference to a natural leader’s ability to use their intuition as part of their decision making process.
I would suggest that intuition is the ability to let your subconscious mind do its work and have enough faith to trust yourself. How many times has your “gut” told you something and then you took a different action? What was the outcome?
Think about the old cliche, a woman’s intuition. How often has your wife or mother stopped before you did something because she just knew you would? That’s why women are often natural leaders. I don’t know about your house but my wife is the real leader. Her intuition is rarely wrong.
I highly recommend reading The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. Remember, if you read 10 pages per day, you will read 10-15 books per year! In case you don’t recognize that, it’s from The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. I recommend that one too!
Make it a great day,
P.S What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful for my network of family and friends. I’m thankful for the people who read my blogs. I’m thankful for GVO!
What are you thankful for today?
