Miracles Happen!
Today marks the 25th anniversary of a great miracle. She said “I do”! We were married March 31, 1990.
Actually, I married three people that day. That’s what made her accepting me into her life that much more of a miracle. I was blessed with two wonderful children at the same time. Denise took a real chance on me that day.
December 9, 1988 was the first time we went out.Just before that, my sister-in-law had been visiting and asked if I was interested in a blind date. Lori was raving about this woman she had met at the drop in centre where Lori had been taking my nephew. I’m thankful that she thought enough of me to introduce us. If you’re single and have been avoiding “set ups”, keep in mind that sometimes your family knows you better than you know yourself.
I couldn’t ask for more in this life. Denise has held this family together through some very tough times. I love her because…
This kids have grown and left the coop and she’s still here, God knows why. I’m looking forward to many more years and adventures with the best woman in the world.
The only thing that could have been better would be meeting and marrying sooner so we could spend more time together.
I can only hope that you were blessed as I was or that God is working in your life and leading you to that special person for you.
