|The most important day of the year, next to Christmas that is. (Isn’t that a birthday?)
I lost track of the date yesterday and as a result, forgot to call a special person in my life to wish her a happy birthday. This upsets me a great deal because I believe that we all appreciate being acknowledged as a person.
Birthdays are another time that creates a focus and we can take the time to appreciate the value that people add to our lives.
We spend so much time focused on the “walls” that present themselves to us in this life that we forget to enjoy some of the wonderful milestones. In living another year, we have been able to experience 365 days. Who knows how many wonderful things happened each day?
Maybe relationships have faced challenges and now have a chance to grow and bloom. Maybe life has presented opportunities for change. Maybe there was a new child or pet in the home. Whatever it is, celebrate it!
So, take the time to celebrate birthdays. They are special events. You can never repeat the same year and that makes each one unique and exciting.
Happy Birthday everyone!
Make it a great day,
P.S. What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful my sister got to celebrate another birthday. I’m thankful for a beautiful grand daughter. I’m thankful for the bright moon that I have been blessed to experience the last couple of days.
What are you thankful for today?
