I have come to realize that God has a great army of angels and they are all around us. Often, they are right in front of us and we just don’t realize it. Miracles happen all the time and we just don’t see them for what they are. All you have to do is open your heart and feel the love!
50 years ago, I was born to a couple of angels who, with God’s help, created me and the world I live in. 28 years later, just when I was starting to question my place and role in this world, He sent three angels into my life. I married one so they wouldn’t get away! This guardian angel has been by my side ever since.
A few years later He decided to call one of those angels home. I was devastated and so was my guardian angel. We were in a dark place, losing a son and close to losing a home. This time, He sent an army! They fought by our side and helped us to get through that battle. We lost one along the way but we know that he is safe in God’s house and the other angels stay here and help us through.
These angels show up as that friend who calls after years of silence just when you need them. Sometimes they are parents, children, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings and friends who come to your aid without question. Sometimes they are virtual strangers who just heard about your problem and come to offer help and support. All you have to do is feel the love and be willing to accept it. All of a sudden the world seems less scary and you find the strength to get back on your feet to carry on.
Think about it. Close your eyes and think back to challenging times in your life that you were able to overcome. Maybe you thought you did it yourself but did you really? I’ll bet there was an angel involved!
Next time you are feeling like you just can’t do it any more, feel the love. Let an angel help you. They really will if you just let them.
I just spent the evening with a bunch of angels! Funny thing though, I don’t think they realize that they are!
