My son is back, at least for now.
I think this one will be our world traveler.
He spent about four months in Montreal and then four or five in Jasper, Alberta. Now he’s home to take a course to teach English as a second language which he hopes to do in South America.
We’re so proud to see our kids growing up and becoming productive adults in whatever field they choose. I certainly don’t begrudge the traveling and learning that comes from that along the way!
It’s funny, you find yourself as a parent of teenagers just waiting until they move out and then they do.
For now, it’s nice to have him home. I missed him.
Have a great day!
Barry
P.S.
What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful my son made it home safely. I’m thankful it’s a little cooler today. I’m thankful I have such a wonderful family.
What are you thankful for today?
