Millenials. It’s Not Their Fault!
What’s not the Millenials’ fault?
- It’s not their fault they have unrealistic expectations, some low and some high.
- It’s not their fault they think they are “special”.
- It’s not their fault they expect to get or achieve just because they want it.
Who’s fault is it? Failed parenting and we perpetuate that with management who is focused on making Millenials happy. To a fault.
Simon Sinek does a great job of breaking this down. Watch the video below.
More on the Millenials
Simon explains how he gathered the information included in his comments in the video above. He didn’t just make this stuff up. He was forced to give an answer to a nagging question that was constantly asked when he met with people.
I’m really glad he followed up the video above with the one below.
I really enjoy listening to Simon Sinek. Go and follow him on YouTube and I highly recommend picking up Start With Why and Why Leaders Eat Last.
I hope you enjoyed Simon as much as I do!
Make it a great day,
P.S. What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful I have raised my Millenials differently. I’m thankful you took the time to check this out. I’m thankful for any opportunity to grow. What are you thankful for today? Please share ... by
