What a dangerous tool!
For a few minutes there, it looked like Stephen Harper died for crying out loud. Even one of his own people started spreading the word via Twitter.
Wars have been started over miscommunication.
Social networking is a wonderful way to stay in touch with the world around us but I consider much of it to be suspect. There is no check for authenticity. Think twice about any results you get when you “Google” something.
I would suggest that before you ever react to something you see on the Internet/Email/Twitter/Facebook, talk to the person involved. I mean TALK, not tweet. Make sure you can see their face if at all possible because sometimes there is far more “said” in the facial expression than you can ever express in words.
Another rant by Barry…..
P.S.
What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful the rain didn’t last too long so far. I’m thankful I made it to work safely. I’m thankful for the lunch God provided me today.
