That’s something we don’t say often enough.
Sure, we usually remember to say thank you for the big things. We had a lot of people provide support in many ways over the last couple of years and I’m sure we thought thank you but I’m not so sure we really said thank you.
To my parents who provided support and guidance throughout my life I say thank you. I know in my heart that my mother who passed away last year hears this.
To my son Brett who taught me that if you find your why, you can get through anything. In the end, he lost his battle to cancer but he knew his why was his daughter. That gave them two years to get to know each other. She would never have known her father if he hadn’t fought for that time. There were hundreds of people at my mother’s and Brett’s funerals and I can’t even remember who they all were. To those people, I’m saying thank you.
Over the last couple of years we faced some huge challenges and people stepped up to offer assistance emotionally, professional and financially. To those people, I’m saying thank you.
My children and my wife all rallied together to get through the last couple of years and to them I say thank you.
God has given us strength and the courage to get through all of this and continues to do so. To Him most of all I say thank you!
I promise you I won’t be in your face about this but I also promise you that God is a big part of my life and I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THAT!
May God bless you and keep you safe.

What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful for the sun that keeps me warm and gives us energy. I’m thankful that I get up each day and can give back to the world. I’m thankful for all of the great people in this world that reach out to others. What are you thankful for today?
