Everyone means well. They have been “doing it this way” for 40 years or whatever their time is and believe that the system is proven.
If companies never changed, they would go out of business. I’ve been a victim more than once, of a large company who insisted they didn’t need to change what they are doing.
You often hear in MLM or Network Marketing that whatever you do has to be duplicatible. I agree.
That doesn’t mean you have to do it the way the person that recruited you does. It’s funny how some don’t get that.
What it means is that you need to recruit people like yourself. People who have matching or complimentary skills. If not, you need to be prepared to get help dealing with the person that you “recruited up”.
Maybe you are a “belly to belly” person. Maybe you are a cold calling person. Maybe you are an Internet Marketer. Maybe you are someone who incorporates all three!
That doesn’t mean your upline can do all of those things. You need to make sure you recruit people you can coach. Make sure they think similarly to yourself or be prepared that you may have to step aside and let others lead in that area.
It’s like the business owner who hires a great manager because he lacks the ability to communicate well with staff. The owner may be a technical genius but be unable to address an issue without losing his cool. A good business owner will let the manager handle that stuff.
Know your limits. Do your best. Hire to fill the gaps!
Make it a great day!
P.S. What am I thankful for today? I’m thankful for Knights of Columbus. I’m thankful for faith. I’m thankful for the dishwasher!
